Virgil Abloh was the master of mixing luxury with streetwear. The Ghanaian-American creative director, one of the only Black designers to head a renowned luxury house as artistic director of Louis Vuitton's menswear collection, is frequently compared to the Karl Lagerfeld of the millennial generation. By continually pushing the envelope and revolutionizing the function of directing, he honored hip-hop culture and strove for improvement. His legacy endures even though he passed away in November 2021 after a quiet fight with cancer. His prelaunch collection for the AirForce 1 debuts in June 2022 and includes 47 original looks. The New York Times called Cushnie "one of the most notable Black-owned brands in American fashion," opening doors for Black women in the industry. The world was surprised when Cushnie had to close owing to financial difficulties brought on by the epidemic because her sleek lines and luxurious fabrics were absolute "wow" creations. Thankfully, the designer is still producing, albeit in a smaller-scale manner. Designing a collaboration with the renowned American Girl dolls is among her most recent projects. Additionally, it came at the perfect time given how well she has been raising her children at home.

Yes, RiRi is the founder of not one, but TWO fashion lines, and you already know that. While Fenty provided extremely pricey clothing before regretfully closing in 2021, Savage X Fenty offers reasonably priced and size-inclusive lingerie (though it lives on as bomb beauty brand). The Louisiana designer, who is only 28 years old, has already clothed prominent women like Cardi B and Michelle Obama. Kanye West and Gap have partnered  up to create a new clothing line. Kanye’s fashion company Yeezy will introduce his new line mid 2021. The announcement was made  on June 6th 2020 by both companies. According to the  The New York Times reports, Yeezy will follow West’s direction to create“modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points.”

West’s “design vision” will reportedly extend to the way in which the line will be showcased in Gap’s stores and online.

Gap which has suffered the closure of more than 100 North American stores in the last few years, has reportedly agreed to a 10-year deal, with the option to renew after five years. At the halfway point, Gap is reportedly hoping that Yeezy Gap will be generating $1 billion in annual sales.

Posting on Twitter, West shared a proposed logo for the partnership, with the initials YZY written in Gap’s trademark white font and contrasted against a familiar blue background. The latest venture from the rapper comes after he announced plans toThe rapper has filed a trademark for Yeezy Beauty, with a line of products including makeup, fake eyelashes, face masks, moisturisers, nail polishes, body oils, bath gels and shaving creams.

In April, Forbes also officially confirmed that he  is now a billionaire.

Regardless of the concerns of the global pandemic there will be some Spring Fashion 20201 Week October 2020. Covid -19 has raised great concern globally and in the fashion world, a lot of fashion designers are turning its back on the traditional fashion calendar. The circumstances of the Spring Fashion week have been doubted amid the global Pandemic, economic turn down and protest against police brutality. There is a growing disturbance with the “What was and what has become” in the fashion world,  remarkably when it comes to the traditional calendar shows that are normally take place in the summer such as "The Mens Haute Couture are canceled or are taking place online.

But according to the The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode “The show must go on! From September 28 through October 8, for Spring 2021. The Paris fashion week will take place.The live online viewing will showcase a digital platform for participants to showcase new women's wear collections. According to a Press Release the online programming will align within the arrangements and recommendations of public authorities.


The introduction of a preliminary schedule has yet to be released but forecasting of who will attend is anticipated, Household names such as Dior have been within the realm of credibility. Brand CEO and President Pietro Becarri announced in a virtual press conference, that it plans to showcase a collection in September, and that "we hope to have some audience, if not a full room."Also A  possibility Saint Laurent may attend. Their reevaluation of introducing new lines has yet to be presented associated with a contemporary plan motivated by creativity.

New York, London and Milan Fashion Week have yet to announce their plans for the Spring 2021 season.
